Ovita Clinic — interior architecture project by Sabina Malikova Design Office

The challenge

The primary challenge was to balance the client's need for privacy with the desire for an open, airy atmosphere, all while adhering to strict structural constraints.

The approach

We employed a strategy of 'layered transparency', using fluted glass, timber slats, and strategic lighting to define zones without creating hard barriers.

Ovita Clinic is a healthcare interior. Clinical spaces demand low-emission materials and controlled acoustics. The four Longevity by Design pillars structure the whole design. Waiting and treatment areas use warm, low-glare lighting in calm zones. Surfaces are specified for hygiene and low chemical emissions. Natural textures lower patient stress during waiting. The specification follows the same pillars as the studio's other clinical work, including Dripfy Clinic Corner in Istanbul.
